As a mom, author, and teacher, education and literacy are my priority! Arizona has been my home for most of my life and I am fortunate enough to have taught at the same school in Tempe for almost two decades. Watching families grow and being part of their education was incredibly rewarding. After so many years in the classroom, my next step was to be a mentor for student teachers as a supervisor for Rio Salado College. From there, my path led me to the Scottsdale Library, where I taught weekly open ended math, science, and social development classes for parents and their children ages birth - 5. I especially love writing stories for children, hoping to inspire and develop their confidence and individual creativeness!
